Three years of smiles
Three years of sniffles
Three years of hair
Three years of giggles
Three years with Mommy
Three years with Daddy
Three years with Marshall and Max
And three years with all of the family
Three years of trips
Three years of books
Three years of sleeping
Three years of wearing your sister’s looks
Three years of Halloweens …
…and Thanksgivings …
…and Christmases.
Three years of Frances’s love…
…and lessons in “sharing.”
Today is your day, my big little man
There’s not one ….
… not two ….
…but THREE fingers pointing high on that hand!
Happy 3rd Birthday to my monkey!!
Love, Mommy
Wow--every time I think you've created the cutest, sweetest, most lovingly thoughtful post about your family, you create something even better! I hope Will continues to print these out for you. The blog is more perfect than a scrapbook because you're telling full stories, bringing the kids' personalities to life. What a treasure! And an inspiration. I hope to do the same if we start a family. As always, thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Susan! That just makes my day, I can't tell you. I've never been a scrapbook-er (is that a word?) but I love the idea of it. I hadn't thought about the blog as a digital scrapbook, but I guess you're exactly right. My poor kids are going to be so tired of reading about themselves by the time they're adults : )
DeleteI hope you're doing well!
Happy birthday, George! I loved looking back at his adventures (and maybe some misadventures?) through these pictures. It's hard to believe how far they come in a few short years, isn't it? (Also, don't tell Laura that I forgot, but this reminded me that she's officially 2 1/2 today...) Enjoy your celebrating, and also your weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Sara
Happy Half to Laura!! I always forget they are exactly 6 months apart. I'm telling you, we're supposed to be neighbors (or at least closer than several states away) so we can celebrate these milestones together : )
DeleteHappy weekend to you, too!
