Happy Opening Day, everyone!
And yes, if you hadn’t guessed it by now, Major League
Baseball’s first official day is a Homiller family holiday (except Will does
have to work today. Boo.)
Does everyone notice the combination of hope and anxiety in
my husband’s eyes? I see this look
nearly every day until September (sometimes August, but we just won't think about that tragedy). If anyone playing on Atlanta’s ball team is
out there listening, please please PLEASE do well this year. No one deserves it more than Will … and his
wife.

I feel the same way about the Oakland A's and Thomas. We always start so hopeful and then the season brings so much melancholy into our house. Go Braves and go A's for 2012!
